Why did they bother

Ok would someone like to tell me why we broke up
Ma Bell into the Baby bells if the FCC is just going to
let SBC/ATT reassemble them?

Kind of a waste isn't it?

Something that befuddles me is when SBC took over AT&T, why did they become AT&T. which stands for American Telephone and Telegraph. Does anyone use a telegraph anymore?

But if you noticed, the companies that were formed during the Standard Oil breakup are slowly coming together again. Must make Bill Gates sit and go hmmmmmmmm.
